About me
Originally from Ireland, I moved to Vancouver in 2011. Over my 15+ years in tech, I've led Product and Development teams across various sectors - from Smart Glasses to Smart Bikes to SaaS platforms. Throughout my career, I've actively worked to build inclusive teams and create environments where diverse voices are heard and valued.
I'm passionate about breaking down problems from multiple perspectives, understanding how different user groups experience our products differently. This has taught me the importance of diverse teams in creating truly inclusive solutions.
As a leader, I've focused on implementing equitable hiring practices and mentorship programs, particularly supporting women in technical roles. I believe in active allyship and using my position to advocate for systemic changes in our industry.
I work closely with colleagues across all departments, championing inclusive practices throughout the entire customer journey. I'm honored to share my experiences while acknowledging that my perspective comes from a position of privilege in our industry
